Popular Settings
The following are the most popular settings.
Katosiji
The year is 2X88. The mega corporations have won, dividing the world between them. Governments exist only to suppress citizen uprisings and pass laws allowing mega corps to do as they wish. In the sprawling metropolis of Katosiji, the streets are a maze of neon and shadows where corporate assassins, street gangs, and desperate freelancers struggle for power and survival.
Katosiji is a cyberpunk setting written for The Quick RPG, but in reality, it could easily be adapted to other systems.
The PCs can be mercenaries working for the highest payer, corporate enforcers or spies running espionage missions, or resistance fighters trying to take the system down.
Silverfort: The Last Outpost
Silverfort is the last settlement before the untamed wilderness. Originally established as a mining outpost when silver was discovered in the nearby hills, it has evolved into a crucial waypoint for those brave souls who venture beyond the boundaries of the known.
While it’s written with Heroic Tales in mind, the setting can easily be adapted to other systems and includes a conversion guide.
Nylys
The Nylys System, “ny” (new) and “lys” (light), was discovered by Earth astronomers in the 22nd century. It was a remarkable discovery due to one of the planets in the system having an atmosphere almost identical to Earth. By the 23rd century, a scientific discovery allowed space travel to approach light speed and by the 24th century, mankind was leaving Earth in hopes of finding a planet that wasn’t almost dead.
Nylys is a sci-fi setting written for The Quick RPG, but in reality, it could easily be adapted to other systems.
The PCs are residents of the Novahex Outpost on Nylys C, a recently discovered planet the PCs are exploring.
