Oracles

Oracles are the most common tool for solo play. Use them to:

  • answer yes/no questions (“is the door locked?”)
  • determine NPC reactions (“how does the guard react?”)
  • determine difficulty (“how challenging is the lock?”)
  • determine quantity (“how many guards are there?”)

Determine what to roll based on how likely the result will favor the character.

Unlikely: Roll 2d6, take the lowest
